About Me

My Latest Choreographer’s Bio:

Michael Saenz (Choreographer) is excited to be returning to WVLO after co-choreographing last season’s Something Rotten. Other choreography credits include Company (SBMT) and Oh Coward! (Pear Theatre). He worked as assistant choreographer to Janie Scott and Lee Ann Payne in: Anything Goes and The Full Monty (HBT), Chicago (PAP), Mary Poppins (Cabrillo Stage), and Gypsy (SBMT). He is also a frequent performer on Bay Area stages, seen most recently in SBMT’s Singin’ in the Rain as the lovable goofball, Cosmo Brown as well as the taxi-flipping Chip in SBMT’s On the Town. He has danced professionally with sjDANCEco and enjoyed several featured solos/roles in José Limón’s masterworks as well as sjDANCEco’s Company works. He would like to thank WVLO for the opportunity to share his love of dance with audiences from the “other side of the table” as a choreographer, and his husband for continually cheering him on and believing in him. #loveyoumeanit
